The zoo

WOW.... look at those horns.
Audrey calls these 'pish'.
Our baby Wyatt. See..... we can produce a little chunk. Look at those legs.
It was members night at the zoo. Free pizza, soda, and rice krispy treat. Score!!

Picking Blueberries

What is so fun out here, well fun for me, is all the farms that are so close. Your able to pick your own, which I think is a good time. Rozanne would understand. But a few weeks ago we went and picked tart cherries right off the trees. So my plan is to pick lots of fruits and freeze them for smoothies.

So here, Alexa and I went and picked blueberries . It takes longer than I thought. Alexa was done and over it w/in 10 minutes and I was trying to convince her that this is supposed to be fun. Anyhow, Mequell will benefit from our visit. Expect something coming. ;)

Dress Up w/ the Big Girls

Of course Audrey wanted in the middle of all the fun......
What fun?????? Alexa and 2 sisters that she plays w/ decided they wanted to play 'dress up'. So, what did this mean? To my shock....... it meant that ALL and I mean ALL of Alexa's clothes out of the closet and her drawers to be laid out on her bed, on the floor, actually anywhere that they could find a place to 'display their outfits'. I tried to not scream in horror as I went up to check on them. I decided this was a moment of fun for her and it would be discussed later w/ out friends. I'll say I took care of it in a calm matter.

I might add Taylor Swift was blaring in the room, which OK I love her music too. A makeup kit was out ALL over the sink. WOW............what a clean up effort.

The 4th.....Independence Day

Jake was having the best time lighting up fireworks. I mean matches, fire, flames!! What more could a boy want?

So here in Indiana ANY kind of fireworks are legal. Woohoo!! I think the last time I have personally lit off any were back when I was a child in Folsom, Ca. Whatever happened? It was so fun! I am only posting these out of the 50 approx. that Jake took pictures of. I was in search of my camera that night not knowing Jake was having a hay day. We had 3 families over to celebrate, but sorry no pictures of them (all fireworks).

The firework show on the lake and surrounding neighborhoods were amazing! These were what you would see at something organized. And it went on for hours. So, people buy these crazy huge ones and just light them off in their backyard. So, we all just sat out eating desserts, watching the show! My kids were having the best time. Fun memories.

Silver beach ,MI

Lake Michigan in the back.
Kinda funny that there is a splash pad right across from the beach.
Audrey wouldn't get in.

Silver Beach is 45 min. from our house. The drive up is so beautiful, so green. There are farms along the road the whole way. I love it here.

Shipshewana, IN

Our buggy ride.....This area is an Amish community about 30 min. from our home. It was a fun day, cute shops, the best fried chicken we, well Jody and I, (the kids can't appreciate fried chicken yet) have ever had. Thoughts of going back for just that reason.

Nutella and Audrey

Here's a girl just like her mom. Have you ever tried nutella w/ strawberries? It's a chocolate hazelnut spread. Need I say more? I should add....she pronunciates choc-o-late w/ out missing a syllable. I'm so proud!!

Audrey

No need to ask her to pose. When we pull out the camera SHE say's, "say cheese." And this is what we get. She is not shy by any means. I love it.

Wyatt

Doesn't this look like beau when he was a baby? I think so anyways.

Love this boy!! He is so good to us. He has cried maybe 5 minutes of his little 5 mo. of life. Well now it's probably 20 minutes. He cried all the way home from the zoo today. He was overly tired and hungry. Poor guy. It was not a fun ride home. Audrey was screaming pacifier, pacifier. We tried.

Our kids

Isn't that beautiful?

Audrey saying as she is going out the front door, "I'm going to g-ma's house, see ya."

Can't you just see the attitude? Love her for it. She is so entertaining!!

Our house in Granger, Indiana -june

The sun was too low, but pretty of the lake we're on. It was so cold out.
So here is Alexa w/ a broken ankle. She wasn't so sad about it, I mean hot pink cast, crutches, attention getting. She was happy to be the 'new' girl w/ a cast.
My posers.....
Still posing......
The grey house in the backround is the one we're in. This is our neighbors dock. We really love the neighborhood and location.

Baby Wyatt 2-18-2010

Not on purpose, but I have a picture like this w/ each of our kids.

An anxious mom as this was a surprise delivery. Wyatt came 3 weeks early. I was upset and nervous for a healthy baby to come. We called g-ma and g-pa Williams to come up from Tucson to be w/ ours kids. Grandma Rozanne later told me as they were driving up she had a peace come over her that all would be well. I then said, "why didn't you call and tell me that?" I love her closeness to the spirit.

Our kids w/ Wyatt

Alexa and Audrey were all about dressing up. I even had to sneak a few rubber gloves home for Audrey.

Jake- Arrow of Light award

I know bad pictures. It was too dark and I didn't add a flash or something. It was a fun night. We are proud of Jake and his efforts in scouting. He loves it!
